Everyday I walk my children to school and rearrange furniture and grind coffee beans and make beds and write stories and feel everything and take pictures and get lost in books and check cnn and write essays and walk back to school and weave wall hangings and design some else’s house and have dance parties and prepare a chicken and kiss my husband and read more stories and watch the office.
Ashley Izsak has been blogging and writing for close to a decade. She is the author of a series of weekly essays including heartfelt glimpses into motherhood, normalizing infertility, travel and design. Her writing and design work has been showcased on The Rising Tide Society, Apartment Therapy and Small Talk Social. Nestled in a small village outside of Ottawa, Ashley, her husband, and their twin daughters strive for simplicity, joy and lots of glamping.
I had an itch to write when we found out we may not be able to have children. This blog started as an outlet, grew into a little community and inspired me to write a novel.
